The (IHSS) In Home Supportive Services program helps pay fo services, provided by independant Care Providers, to eligable persons, who are 65 years of age or older, legally blind, dissabled adults and children, so that they can remain safely in their homes.  (IHSS) is an alternative to out-of-home care such as nursing homes or board-and-care facilities. Independant Care Providers offer services such as:, house hold chores, errends, laundry, food preparation, and personal care:, bathing grooming, protective supervision,paramedical services, and accompaniment to medical oppointments.
